Banking & financial

Security for a higher standard.

Every branch, ATM area and back office in one console: doors by person and schedule, unusual activity flagged early, alarms checked before anyone is called, and evidence that holds up. Vallaris installs it, and cameras where you need them.

Where it watches
  • Lobbies and ATM areas
  • Vault and back-office doors
  • Drive-through and parking
  • Staff entrances

The challenge

Why branches are hard to watch.

01

Open areas after closing

ATM areas stay open when the branch is closed, with nobody there to see who comes and goes.

02

Doors that must be accounted for

Vaults and back offices need a record of every person and every door, at every hour.

03

Evidence that will be questioned

Footage from an incident ends up with investigators and courts, who ask whether it was changed.

A day with Vallaris

A day at a branch with Vallaris.

  1. 7:30 AM

    Staff arrive

Staff badge in with a card and PIN at the staff door. The vault door follows its own schedule.

  2. 9:00 AM

    The lobby opens

The lobby doors unlock on business hours, and stay locked on bank holidays.

  3. 5:00 PM

    The branch closes

The lobby locks on schedule. The ATM area stays open, and its camera keeps watching.

  4. 11:20 PM

    Someone lingering at the ATM

SentryIQ knows how long people usually spend at this ATM and raises an alarm when one person stays far longer.

  5. 2:00 AM

    A round of every branch

Circitor checks the ATM areas, entrances and night drops of every branch, with a picture from each.

  6. 10:00 AM

An investigator asks for the footage

The case is exported with every clip and picture, fingerprinted and signed, and checkable at vallaris.ai/verify.

What happened

A person in a dark coat and cap stood at the ATM in the vestibule at 11:20 PM.

What I think

I am not sure what this is: the person has stayed far longer than people usually do here at this hour, but nothing has been done to the machine.

Questions

What banks ask us.

Do we need new cameras?

No. Vallaris works with the Axis, Avigilon and other ONVIF cameras you already have. Where there are gaps, we install Axis cameras.

Can we prove footage was not changed?

Yes. Every exported file is fingerprinted and signed, and anyone can check it at vallaris.ai/verify without uploading it.

Can the vault door follow its own schedule?

Yes. With Axis or Genea access control (more manufacturers are coming), each door has its own schedule, and each person their own doors, hours and valid dates.

Can a branch manager see only their branch?

Yes. Access is set per person and per site, in the console and the phone app.

Does IT have to open the firewall?

No. The SmartHub at each branch only connects out, so no ports are opened and no firewall rules change.
