Corporate offices

Secure workplaces.

Every building and floor in one console: doors that follow business hours, badges that name who came in, after-hours alarms checked before anyone is called, and patrols that keep watch overnight. Vallaris installs it, and cameras where you need them.

Where it watches
  • Reception and lobbies
  • Parking and garages
  • Server and comms rooms
  • Stairwells and back doors

The challenge

Why an office is hard to watch.

01

Busy by day, empty by night

Hundreds of people come and go during the day. After hours the same building is quiet, and a door left open is easy to miss.

02

Alarms nobody trusts

Motion alarms that go off for cleaners and shadows teach people to ignore them, until the one that matters.

03

More sites than staff

A company with offices in several cities rarely has someone watching each one, and each site runs its own system.

A day with Vallaris

A day at an office with Vallaris.

  1. 7:00 AM

    The lobby opens

The front doors unlock on business hours. Staff badge in at the side entrances with a card, or a card and PIN at the doors that need it.

  2. 1:15 PM

A badge refused at the server room

A card without access to the server room is refused. The log names whose card it was, at which door, and when.

  3. 6:30 PM

    The building locks itself

After hours the doors lock on schedule, and a holiday keeps them locked all day.

  4. 9:47 PM

    The back door, propped open

The rear service door stays open after the last person leaves. The door controller raises the alarm, and the camera that watches the door shows why.

  5. 2:00 AM

Round 2 of 3: all clear

Circitor checks the lobby, the garage, the server room door and every entrance, with a picture from each.

  6. 7:30 AM

Facilities has the night in one place

The rounds, the propped door and what was done are waiting for the facilities manager.

What I think

I think this is real: the building is closed and the door is being held open, though nobody is in view.

What Vallaris does

What Vallaris does at an office.

Access that follows the calendar

Cardholders with card numbers and PINs, business hours, holidays and events, written to Axis door controllers.

Doors that report

A door forced or held open raises an alarm with the camera that watches it.

Fewer false alarms

SentryIQ looks at every detection first and lets through only what needs a person.

Patrols after hours

Circitor walks every floor and entrance on a schedule and keeps a picture from each checkpoint.

A wall for the security room

Put any saved view on the video wall; an alarm takes the screen when it matters.

Every office in one console

Each site keeps its own doors and cameras, and head office sees them all.

Questions

What offices ask us.

Do we need new cameras?

No. Vallaris works with the Axis, Avigilon and other ONVIF cameras you already have. Where there are gaps, we install Axis cameras.

Can it run our badge access too?

Yes, with Axis or Genea access control, and more manufacturers are coming: cardholders, card numbers and PINs, schedules and holidays are set in the same console as the cameras.

Will we be called for every motion alarm?

No. SentryIQ looks at each detection first and lets through only what needs a person, with the picture and what happened.

Can each office see only its own site?

Yes. Access is set per person and per site, so local staff see their own building and head office sees every site.

Does IT have to open the firewall?

No. The SmartHub at each site only connects out, so no ports are opened and no firewall rules change.

See it on one of your sites.

Bring one building. We will show you the alarm, the patrol and the record it leaves.
